How to Show or Hide "Hang & Fold" Options
For laundry and garment care businesses, it is often necessary to record how a customer wants their items returned—either placed on a hanger (Hang) or neatly folded (Fold). The POS system includes dedicated Hang and Fold selection buttons for each item in the shopping cart. This guide explains how to reveal or hide these options based on your business needs.
Part 1: Configuring the "Hide Hang & Fold" Setting
- Open POS Settings: From your main POS screen, locate and click the Settings icon (the gear symbol) to open the configuration menu.

- Locate the Setting: Look towards the bottom left area of the settings screen for the option labeled Hide Hang & Fold.
- Choose to Show or Hide: This toggle works by hiding the feature when activated:
- To HIDE the options: Click the toggle so it turns green. The buttons will not appear in the cart.
- To SHOW the options: Click the toggle so it turns gray (disabled). The buttons will now be visible in the cart.

Part 2: Using the Hang and Fold Options in an Order
If you have configured the settings to show the options (by disabling the "Hide" toggle), follow these steps to use them during a transaction:
- Add Items to the Cart: Select the garments (e.g., Dress, Vest, Night Dress) from your product grid or search bar to add them to the right-side shopping cart.
- Select the Finishing Preference: Look at the item rows in the shopping cart. Next to each item, you will see radio buttons labeled Hang and Fold.

You can make a specific selection for every single item in the order.
- Finalize the Order: Once you have made your selections, click the green Delivery & Print (or Save) button to process the transaction and send the specific instructions to your cleaning staff.
Why hide this feature?
If your business is a standard retail store (like a grocery or electronics shop) and you do not offer laundry services, seeing "Hang" and "Fold" options on every item will clutter your screen and confuse cashiers. Enabling the "Hide" toggle keeps your interface clean and strictly relevant to your daily operations.
