How to Enable the Delivery Confirmation Prompt
To prevent staff from accidentally marking an order as delivered, you can enable the Ask Delivery Confirmation feature. When turned on, the system will trigger an extra pop-up window requiring the user to confirm their action before an order's status is permanently updated to "Delivered."
Part 1: The Default Delivery Behavior
Before changing this setting, it is important to understand the default workflow for completing a delivery.
- By default, when you open an active order from your search menu and click the Delivery & Save button, the system immediately processes the action.

Part 2: Enabling the Confirmation Pop-Up
To add an extra layer of verification, follow these steps to turn on the confirmation prompt.
- Navigate to your main Settings menu and open the POS Global Settings window.
- Scroll through the general settings list until you locate the option labeled Ask Delivery Confirmation.

- Click the Save Settings button in the bottom right corner of the window to apply your changes.
Part 3: Using the Delivery Confirmation Prompt
Once the setting is enabled, the checkout workflow will include an additional safety check.
- Open an active order and proceed to the payment or update screen as you normally would.
- Click the Delivery & Save button.
- Instead of processing immediately, the system will now display a pop-up window asking: "Ask Delivery Confirmation?"

- If you click OK, the system will verify your intent and finalize the order, changing its status to "Delivered."
