How to Enable Single Product Discounts
The Single Product Discount feature allows cashiers to apply a custom discount to an item at the exact moment it is being added to the cart. When enabled, a small inline discount prompt will automatically appear every time you click "Add," allowing you to quickly adjust the price by an amount or percentage before the item moves to the final invoice list.
Part 1: Enabling the Feature
- Access the POS Settings: From your main POS screen, click the Settings icon (the gear symbol) to open the configuration menu.

- Locate the Discount Section: Scroll down the page until you find the section labeled Discount.

Part 2: Applying a Discount to an Item
- Select a Product: Start a new order and enter a product into the Product Name field.
- Click Add: Click the black Add + button to add the item to the order.
- Enter the Discount: A small Discount/Qty box will immediately appear below the product details on the left side of your screen. Here, you can apply a discount in two ways:
- By Percentage: Click the % button and enter the percentage amount.
- By Amount: Type a specific flat-rate amount directly into the discount field.

Why use this workflow?
While the traditional "Discount Popup" requires cashiers to click an extra icon inside the cart *after* an item is added, the "Single Product Discount" feature prompts them *during* the initial entry. This is highly beneficial for businesses where haggling or custom per-item pricing is a standard part of every transaction, ensuring the discount step is never accidentally skipped.
