Calendar View Option

How to Enable and Use the Calendar View Option

If your business relies on scheduled services, reservations, or specific deadlines, you can transform your point-of-sale (POS) interface to include a built-in scheduling tool. By enabling the Calendar View Option, you gain access to a dedicated calendar workspace where you can mark customer appointments and track important daily details.

Part 1: Enabling the Calendar View

First, you need to turn on the calendar workspace from your global settings.

  1. Navigate to your main Settings and open the POS Global Settings window.
  2. Scroll through the settings options to locate the field labeled Calendar View Option.

  3. Click the toggle switch to enable it (turn it ON).
  4. Click the Save Settings button in the bottom right corner of the window to apply your changes.

Part 2: Navigating and Using the Calendar

Once the setting is saved and the system refreshes, a new interactive calendar window will become available for your staff to manage schedules.

  1. Refresh your POS dashboard. You will now see a full-screen calendar interface displaying the current date and hourly time slots (e.g., 1am, 2am, 3am, etc.).

  2. Use the navigation buttons in the top right corner of the calendar to switch between different layout perspectives: Month, Week, or Day.
  3. To schedule a new entry, simply click on the desired date and time slot within the calendar grid.
  4. Use this space to type in customer appointments, pickup deadlines, or any other important date-specific details your staff needs to monitor for the day.

Best Practice for Service Businesses

The Calendar View is highly recommended for businesses like tailor shops, salons, or specialized repair centers that take bookings in advance. By keeping your scheduling tool integrated directly into your POS, your staff will not need to switch back and forth between third-party calendar applications to see what appointments are coming up.
